Three people. Decades of experience. And work that reaches the parts others don’t.<\/h1>\n

We have worked with global blue-chip organisations and small charities in Zimbabwe. With fast-growth scale-ups finding their feet and established institutions needing a reset. With leaders who arrived sceptical and left transformed.<\/p>\n

Different sectors. Different cultures. Different challenges. Same outcome: leaders who own their impact, build genuine trust, and create cultures where people can fully show up.<\/p>\n

The origin<\/p>\n

This started with a personal experience.<\/h2>\n

Jo Andrews began her career in banking and finance, first at First Direct, then at American Express, where she designed and delivered leadership training globally. The UK, across Europe, Sydney, Ottawa. On paper, it was the perfect job.<\/p>\n

It didn’t feel like it.<\/p>\n

The leader she was working under made what should have been an exceptional role feel like pulling teeth. Then he left. His replacement was a superb leader, and almost overnight, everything changed. The work felt different. The team felt different. Jo felt different.<\/p>\n

That experience, the visceral, undeniable contrast between a leader who diminishes and a leader who enables, is what sent her in this direction. She founded The Training Rock with Katie Boston in 2020, and brought Hakim Lakhdar on board not long after.<\/p>\n

Twenty-five years later, the conviction hasn’t changed.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
