TRUST REPAIR WORKSHOP

Fast conflict resolution that gets leaders on the same page and moving forward in agreement (even when it seems impossible).

“You were my last resort. I thought I would have to let some of them go (unconvinced that even you could get them to see eye-to-eye). Now, they’re functioning together… I can’t believe they’re the same team” Trevor Mapondera, CEO, Catalyst Care Group

Healthy disagreement among leaders is normal…

You want people who challenge and push one another to be better.

People who voice their opinions, bring ideas to the table, and hold themselves (and others) accountable.

It’s a sign you’ve got the right people in those roles.

But when an agreement can’t be reached, and unresolved conflict lingers, the air becomes sour.

We end up banging our heads against a brick wall – having the same ‘I’m right, your wrong’ conversations – and getting nowhere.

Productivity plunges, motivation tanks, and frustration levels shoot up…

The result? No one trusts each other. Team members are emotionally exhausted. Progress grinds to a halt.

No one wins.

Common causes of fraught relationships:

> Two teams are brought together and reject the structural change, unable to work as one.

> Personality clashes make for tense hostile environments, even for those not directly involved.

> Lack of clarity about roles and authority encourages power battles and competition over collaboration.

> Disagreements that have not reached a clear and respectful conclusion stop projects from progressing.

> Lack of respect for different approaches, beliefs, specialisms, and priorities.

> Competent individuals with oversized egos contribute to a toxic culture with an ‘I’m better than you’ attitude.

Unresolved conflict left so long will either erupt or leave an ice-cold atmosphere that impacts everyone and your team’s performance will take a hefty hit.

This sh*tuation needs to be sorted, fast.

Because every day stuck in conflict contributes to:

56% increase in stress

40% drop in motivation

36% drop in commitment

You’ve done what you can…

Perhaps HR has pulled them aside to nip this in the bud before it causes further damage.

Each party has given, “Yes, we’ll sort it out” lip service… but nothing changes.

That doesn’t mean you need to give up on your team (not yet!).

After all, you hired every one of them for a reason…

After months, even years, of leaders at loggerheads we can get them back on track.

There’s no need to risk the stress or expense of raising grievances or replacing talent.

All that’s needed is a safe space to facilitate open, honest, and vulnerable conversations so everyone feels seen, heard, and understood.

(It’s not easy but it is simple).

In a matter of days, we can:

1. Resolve the ‘unresolvable’ conflict.

2. Come to a mutual agreement.

3. Move forward as a united team.

Even when the situation seems too hostile, between people that are too different, and fiery characters that are too ‘difficult’… we can mend these broken relationships.

Before the workshop

After the workshop

I felt anxious and apprehensive about spending the whole day together.

I feel positive, excited, and hopeful.

Dreadful, it’s been going on for many months and I’ve taken it all a bit personality.

Really positive! I was worried I couldn’t forgive – I can and I will.

I am apprehensive but also hopeful that we can find a way forward.

We finally had time to communicate, thank you for creating the space for us to do that. I feel reassured and optimistic about future collaborations.

Anxious that a mutual resolution would not be agreed.

I’m excited for the future and what the team can achieve together.

ANGRY!

Relieved!

The CEO of this team said the Trust Repair Workshop was their “last hope”.

We showed him how quickly even the most misaligned teams can go from high-tension stand-offs to forward-moving collaborators.

At the first sign of trust breakdown, bring us in.

The longer unresolved conflict is left to fester the greater the damage to individuals, teams, and company as a whole. Give your people the best chance of doing their best work by contacting us the moment team dynamics become disruptive.

Get in touch today, and we’ll show you just how quickly your once-fragmented team can thrive together.
